Hida Takayama Tenshoji Youth Hostel

The city called little Kyoto has a long history and culture. Miyagawa-river flows at the center of the city and divids the city into east and west. Kawahigashi is a castle town and old houses area built in a row. There is town composed with temples on a hill and YH is located in the center of this town. It takes 10 minutes to a morning bazaar of the Miyagawa Riverside on foot and there are some attaraction which you should visit visit around there. In April and October, we have Takayama festival with many street stalls. If you go further away, you can do one-day trip to Shirakawago, which is famous as a World Heritage, Okuhida Spa area, Norikura hill and Kamikochi(a scenic spot). All rooms in this YH are japanese style and we have some rooms for family. We also have meeting room.


Hida Furukawa Youth Hostel

    We opened our Youth Hostel for more people to know Hida-Furukawa River which is a castle town with carp and beauty of nature in Hida. In winter, temperature is about minus 10 degree, but inside of our YH has underfloor heating for you to walk on bare foot. You can take the popular lesson of telemark ski. We have tools for rental, so please contact us and come to our website if you are interested. You can enjoy tender green in spring, touring in summer and leaves in beautiful autumn colors in autumn. This YH is cheerful all the year. You can get discount. It takes 30 minutes to a house of rail mountain bike and 50 minutes to Okuhida spa.


    Kisoji Furusato Youth Hostel

    This Youth Hostel is located in the middle of Kiso street and Mino street and it takes 10 minutes to a pavement with stone of Nakasen- do Ochiai on foot. It is around 3 km to Magome, so it is good for those who like history and walking Nakasen Street. If you go further away, you can see Fujimidai, Tsukechi valley and a pasture and enjoy there even if you are solo. This YH is on the southern slope which command the Ena mountain, and the evening sun and night view is beautiful. This house is made of wood and it makes nostalgia. Please relax and enjoy the beatiful scenery and meal.

      Omaezaki Youth Hostel

      Omaezaki is a cape projecting out to sea. In summer, you can enjoy some activities, for example, beach with water of 'AAA' credit rating in Japan, surfing and watching turtle laying eggs. From autumn to spring, we cann see sunset into the ocean and the red sky colored by sunrise. When you go up to the top of the lighthouse, you will see that the earth is round and in spring and autumn, there are migratory birds resting their wings.


      Kawane Nanamagari juku Youth Hostel

        This Youth Hostel is located in the national natural park facing reaches of the Oi river which is one of a grade-one rivers whose origin is the Japanese South Alps. It is cold here because of the fog over the river and here is a production area of Kawane tea. You can feel a warm nostalgia because there is the Oi-gawa railway of SL, an old settlement and mountains where its whistle echoes. You can enjoy fishing and playing in the river nearby and relax at a veranda of this YH and beside the fireplace because this YH is repaired from old farm houses. You can visit Municipal Kawane spa and Shiogo suspension bridge at the station next to the closest stationfrom YH.


        Asuke Satoyama Youth Hostel

          Asuke town has Chu-ma street (Ida street) and there are still old rows of houses. There is the Koran ravine which is famous for the beauty of autumns leaves nearby and it has Asuke house and Asuke castle telling an old culture at its corner, so you can enjoy here throughout the year. This Youth Hostel was repaired from a school made of wood, so its outward appearance is school and interior is heartwarming because of a Japanese cedar. You can go to a tour of seeing a dogtooth violet in early spring, fireflies in early summer and autumn leaves in late autumn. You can also have equipment of a charcoal burner and works in mountains.


          Inuyama International Youth Hostel

            At Inuyama, you can enjoy Inuyama castle (national tresure), The Museum Meiji mura, Little world, Monkey park and so on. At Kiso river nearby, you can also enjoy rafting and Ukai experience (cormorant fishing). YH is located at quiet place, and good place for Sports, Music playing. And YH welcome individual traveller, family, group and so on.


            Youth Hostel Taikoji

              Hutamigaura was flourished as lodging to worship at Ise Shrine which is known as scenic beauty of rising sun. In Spring, we have Fuji festival there and big leaf hydrangea is very beautiful. From this Youth Hostel, it takes 10 minutes to Futami Plaza, Fu-fu Rocks, beach and a cultured community of Ise Azuchi-momoyama era on foot. It takes 20 minutes to Toba or Ise by bus. A hotel and a street of souvenir in Futami town has good and old atmosphere.


              Ise Shima Youth Hostel

                From this hostel, you can visit the village of Spain in 5 minutes by car. It takes 25 minutes to Ise Shrine and Toba.
