The YH is situated in Moya Heights commanding Aomori city and facing Route 103 bound for Sukayu hotspring, Oirase mountain torrent and Lake Towada.
There are Moya hills skiing ground "Nebuta village" where Nebuta (large lantern) is decorated throughout the year and the Sannaimaruyama ruins are in the neighborhood.
Moya Heights is popular for nice night view spots and Mutsu Bay, the Shimokita Peinsula, the Tsugaru Peinsula and Mt. Iwaki which is called Mt. Tsugaru Fuji.


Access: From JR Aomori station, take a bus for Moya-hills for 37 minutes, and get off at Moya-kogen, and walk for 1 minute.
