This YH is located in a small village between Wakasa and Kyoto. A clear stream, farms, mountains and a lot of traditional old private houses with a straw-thatched roof are harmonious and create a scenery of farming village. A lot of untouched trees are remained in a forest of western end of the town. Guests can enjoy hiking, cherry blossoms in spring, fireflies in summer, tinted autumnal leaves, and a snow scene in winter.
