This Youth Hostel is located at "NANAMAGARI" (Seven Curves) nature park area of River Oi which comes from South Alps. This area is very cool climate, and famous for Kawane Japaneses Tea. You can enjoy SL (steam locomotive) of Oigawa Railway and scenery of old village. This YH has been reformed from old tea farm hause, so guests can relax at "ENGAWA" or at "IRORI" (Japanese style veranda or fireplace). Also Hot Spa area and scenic hanging bridge are just next stop of railway.
