Youth Pal Akita is 20 minute away from Akita station by bus and surrounded by a lot of historical spots, shrines and temples. There is a park, east gate of the site of an ancient Akita Castle, a shrine on the war dead within 10 minute by car or 30 minute walk. There is a tennis and basketball court in outdoor facilities (free of charge).
