In winter, Niseko is paradise for skiers and snowboarders. Combination ofgood powder snow and accessibility to the off-piste is very attractive. You may see long cue to the peak of Mt Niseko Annupuri in fine day. In summer ,rafting, trekking, MTB, cycling and walking are popular but there are more choices of outdoor activities here. You can see very nice view of Mt Yotei or Niseko mountain range from various spot in Niseko. Also, there are many Onsen (Geo thermal hot spa), local veg and products shops scattered in the area. They are all very popular to both locals and tourists.
This Youth Hostel is former old elementary school. It was renovated and used as an accommodation for years. Even now, some nostalgic tastes of old school still remain. Our name gKarimpanih means gCherry blossom treeh in Ainu (Hokkaidofs indigenous peoplefs language) and there is large one here.
