Horseshoe-shaped Muroran is facing the Pacific Ocean. Chikyuu (Earth) Point where a lighthouse stands on 120 meter cliff is one of the sightseeing spots representing Muroran. This YH is located at a corner of this hill. Guests can enjoy a wonderful night view and the morning sun from the YH. 4-km course from the YH to Chikyuu Point is highly recommendable to see. Whale and dolphin watching become popular recently.


Access: From Sapporo Station take the JR train toward Hakodate (Muroran Main Line) and get off at JR Wanishi Station. From there it is a 15 minute walk. 5 minute taxi ride from JR Higashi Muroran Station.
