This Youth Hostel is located at a foot of theNorthern Somma of Aso and it's surrounded by a quiet forest where birds are singing. It is also the starting point of a road to Daikanbo where you can enjoy a superb view of Aso Godake, the whole Aso area along the Milkroad. The accecible main hall which features the warmth of a tree was opend in 1997. We prerare log house for you all. There is a climbing bus and house riding event. You can see the burn off a field in spring and autumn foliage in fall. We usually hold the new year's eve party on Dec. 31 and you can enjoy talking around fire place or Kotatsu.


25min from Akamizu station on JR Hohi-hon line. You can get to Akamizu station from Kumamoto, Oita, and Beppu by bus. Please contact us about our pick up service.
