This Youth Hostel has a dwalf azalea and rubber tree which is 70 cm in circumference. This rubber tree is the only one in Ashizuri and the dwalf azalea in full blow is great. In Ashizuri, you can see the sunrise over the holizon and it is awesome. You can also easily visit a botanical garden, Kongo temple, observation tower, light house and a ocean of camellia and enjoy a forest bathling. There is Hakusan tunnel near from YH. It is good to visit Ashizuri spa and wash away the sweat. Please keep in mind to visit House of John Manjiro.
It takes 90 minutes from Nakamura Station of Tosa Kuroshio Line by bus bound for Ashizuri and get off at last stop. 3 minutes' walk.
