Gujouhachiman is a castle town which is known for gujou-odori (in summer) and famous mineral water. The old town visible form the Hachiman Castle is called little Kyoto. There are small waterway and river named Yoshidagawa. Many children jump into the river at summer time. You can enjoy Ayu or Amago fishing and roding canoe along this river. One minute away from our YH on foot, there is spring water called Sougisui awarded the prize of selected one hundred exquisite waters of Japan.
Please get off at Gujo Hachiman Station of Nagaragawa Railway and 20 minutes from ther on foot. Or please take a express bus bound for Shiratori or Gujo Hachiman from Meitetsu Gifu Bus Center (75 min) / Local bus (100 min) and get off at Jokamachi Plaza. 3 minutes' walk from there. When you use a car, pelase drive on the Tokai Hokuriku Route from the Ichinomiya IC of Meishin Route and get off from Gujo Hachiman IC. 50 km and 70 minutes through 156 Route from Gifu.
